Inspiration can come from the most unexpected places. A close friend of mine has inspired me to take on the challenge of running the Cardiff Half Marathon on October 4, 2026. This isn't just any run; it’s a chance to support Anthony Nolan, an organization that is at the forefront of saving lives through its world-leading stem cell register and groundbreaking research in cell and gene therapy.

Every day, Anthony Nolan helps four patients in need of a stem cell transplant, offering them a renewed chance at life. This mission resonates deeply with me, as I have witnessed firsthand how vital this support can be for those battling life-threatening conditions. It is my hope that by participating in this marathon, I can contribute to their incredible work and help more individuals like my friend who have faced such daunting challenges.
