Story
Just over a year ago my wife Anita was diagnosed with Myeloma, a blood cancer which currently has no cure. It's been a tough year and treatment is ongoing. We're doing ok. Following discussions with Anita's consultant it is evident how much the treatment for Myeloma has advanced in the last 10 years thanks to research and funding which has proven that chemotherapy and stem cell transplant's with ongoing support medication are helping to put Myeloma patient's into temporary remission. I've decided to run the Manchester Marathon to support Myeloma UK. If you can help in any way big or small it would be great. Myeloma is a wonderful supportive and caring charity. Thank you.
