I really didn't realise the impacts of epilepsy until a loved one began having seizures in 2023. The impacts are huge, and effect very simple things we all take for granted.

Over 80 people a week in the UK develop epilepsy and often in later life.

The Epilepsy Society were there for us in giving us the information we lacked when it was difficult to get good support from elsewhere. And they continue to provide amazing support - they're a brilliant charity doing important work.

So, this year's UnAwards charity is the Epilepsy Society to hopefully give a little bit back, and so that someone else can also receive this valuable help.
