Campaign by Alzheimer's Society (RCN 296645)
Who will you walk for? This year thousands of people will feel it all and walk for everyone affected by dementia. By taking part in Memory Walk, you will be providing help and hope to everyone living with dementia now and in the future.

Story

Your Insurance Institute of Peterborough Council (and friends) are taking part in the Peterborough Memory Walk supporting the Alzheimer’s Society.  This is a charity that we know is very dear to the hearts of so many of you and we hugely appreciate your kindness, in helping us to support those affected by dementia through the amazing work and research of the Alzheimer’s Society.

Many of us know loved ones who have been affected by dementia, but did you know, dementia is the UK's biggest killer and there is currently no cure.  Every three minutes someone is diagnosed with dementia (affecting 1 in 3 of us in our lifetimes) and the Alzheimer's Society is the only UK charity that campaigns for change, funds research into care and supports people living with dementia.

By taking part in this Memory Walk and gaining your valuable donations, we hope to support the Alzheimer’s Society in their campaign to provide help and hope for everyone affected by dementia now and in the future.  All of us taking part in this walk are immensely thankful for your kindness, generosity, and fantastic support; so, please do donate and help make a difference.  And don’t forget the option to gift-aid your donation when asked, as it’s free to you, but helps raise an extra 25% for the charity.
