Southampton Action works to support refugees, asylum seekers and other vulnerable groups in Southampton and surrounding areas. I work regularly with this charity by helping out at clothes sorting events, marshalling at the marathon, donating clothing/toiletries/any other required items regularly, as well as financial support. I am excited to help raise funds for a charity that means a lot to me, that I regularly support, and that I see with my own eyes is helping many people day in day out with their basic needs.

This year I am also running in memory of Valerie, the daughter of a family friend who sadly passed away earlier this month.
