For the second year, Essex & Herts Air Ambulance (EHAAT) is our charity partner.

Data Energy and DMG Delta, both part of Trinergy Group, are coming together to support the charity and the incredible life-saving work its teams provide.

When someone is seriously unwell or injured, you don’t get a second chance during those first few minutes. EHAAT brings the hospital to the patient, delivering expert critical care at the roadside, at home or wherever it’s needed.

Continuing our charity partnership

Last year, together with our colleagues, clients and partners, we raised £2,861 for EHAAT.

This year, we’re aiming to raise another £2,800 - the cost of a life-saving mission.

If we reach this year’s target, our fundraising across the two years of our charity partnership will total more than £5,600 - the equivalent cost of two life-saving missions.

As part of our fundraising, rather than sending client gifts last Christmas, Data Energy donated the money we would have spent to EHAAT. We’re also inviting our clients, partners, friends and colleagues to get involved and help us support this incredible service.

Every donation helps keep EHAAT’s crews ready to respond, with the specialist equipment and clinical expertise that can make all the difference.

Why it matters to us - Cerease’s story

This cause is especially close to our hearts.

In June 2023, our colleague Cerease, who works at Data Energy, experienced a ruptured ectopic pregnancy. For a short while, the symptoms didn’t seem like anything serious. Then suddenly, she became extremely unwell with intense pain.

When paramedics arrived, they realised her blood pressure was dangerously low and she needed urgent support. They made the call to bring in the air ambulance.

The EHAAT crew arrived quickly. With the equipment and expertise onboard, the doctor was able to locate a vein using ultrasound and give the fluids, medication and pain relief Cerease needed to be stabilised and safely transferred to hospital. She later received blood transfusions and emergency surgery.

Cerease is very clear about one thing: if the air ambulance team hadn’t reached her when they did, she might not be here today.

What surprised her afterwards was learning that EHAAT is a charity, funded by donations. That means every mission relies on people choosing to help.
