The news of Dave's passing came as a shock to many of you. Dave was diagnosed with Liver Cancer back in 2022 when he had an operation to remove the tumour. Earlier this year we found out that the Cancer had returned and that the only option was a Liver Transplant. Very sadly Dave passed away on Sunday 15th December due to complications with the Liver Transplant Surgery.

As well as being a loving family man Dave was a life long Rotarian and only a couple of days earlier he had been out being Santa at a local school and then again on the streets of Brookmans Park.

He was Club President at the time of his passing and had previously been the District Governor for our area and had many friends across the UK and internationally. He was a believer in supporting Rotary's own charity, The Rotary Foundation which enables Rotarians across the world to support many, many projects. The slogan for this charity is 'Doing Good in the World', something he believed in which is why it is his chosen charity.
