Story
I’m taking part in the Great North Swim on Sunday 14th June 26, challenging myself to a two-mile open water swim in Lake Windermere 🏊♂️ - to raise funds for Rosemere Cancer Foundation.
Like many people, I have seen first-hand the impact cancer can have on loved ones, friends, and colleagues.
Cancer touches all of our lives at some point. Currently, around 70,000 people in Lancashire and South Cumbria are living with cancer, which shows just how many families are affected across our community.
The work Rosemere Cancer Foundation does is incredibly important. The funds raised help support pioneering clinical research, provide cutting-edge equipment, deliver specialist training, and fund innovative projects that improve care and wellbeing for cancer patients both now and in the future.
Any donation, no matter how small, would mean a great deal and will help make a real difference locally.
Thank you so much for your support.
