Last year when my wife Julia came home and told me her boss's mum, Rosie Hill, who had also been a colleague of Julia's, had been diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour, I decided that I wanted to help support the family and my way was to register and join Catherine in the Coniston Water end to end ChillSwim.

On April 7th Rosie lost her battle and passed away.

Dave and Catherine are in training and on June 20th we will take part in the 5.25mile swim, the length of Coniston water in the Lake District.
