As the incoming captain for the 2022/2023 season at the prestigious Felixstowe Ferry Golf Club, it is only right my chosen charity is St Elizabeth Hospice.

Both my late parents Gillian and Austin King were supported in their final days at the hospice. The love, compassion and general commitment shown by those involved was immense, at what our family would describe as our ultimate time of need!

For those people we are eternally grateful, hence my turn to repay the favour and do some work for them. So I ask, please donate to a fantastic local charity.

As little as £5 could fund a two course home cooked meal for a patient. £12 could fund 5 bereavement packs which are shared with families to help them find ways to manage their grief.
