Story
At the beginning of September, I’ll be taking on something that will push me physically and mentally in ways I’ve never experienced before.
I’ll be part of a six-person relay team attempting Arch to Arc. An extraordinary endurance challenge (considered one of the hardest) that starts at Marble Arch in London, we run to Dover, swims the English Channel (without a wetsuit), and then cycle from Calais to the Arc de Triomphe in Paris.🏃 140km run from London to Dover 🏊 34km (minimum) swim across the English Channel 🚴 300km cycle from Calais to Paris It’s known as the Enduroman Arch to Arc — often described as the hardest triathlon on the planet.
I’m doing this in support of Aspire, a charity that works tirelessly to help people living with spinal injuries rebuild independence and regain control of their lives. Aspire provides practical support, from housing adaptations to specialist equipment, that makes a real, tangible difference to everyday living.
This challenge will be uncomfortable. There will be moments of exhaustion, doubt, and mental fatigue. But that discomfort is temporary. For many people living with spinal injuries, the challenges they face are permanent
If you’re able to support this challenge in any way, whether by donating, sharing, or encouraging it would genuinely mean a great deal. Thank you
