Spondon & Ilkeston Cycle Clubs are again working together to host their annual Midsummer Audax on Sunday 21st June 2026.

Following the success of the last two years, we are offering three routes; 100 miles, 100km or 36 miles.

All the routes are completely new.

We have a new café which is halfway for all riders.

We also have a new, local charity, Treetops Hospice Care, based in Risley and as well as passing there, each route has been designed to ride past several of their charity shops.

As previously, we will all start (8.30am) and finish at the Queens Head in Ockbrook, where food and drink is available all day and there is a large garden for you all to recuperate and compare rides.

We ask that you do two things to enter.

1) Make a donation on here. You choose how much but we would suggest a minimum of £10 please BUT PLEASE READ BELOW FIRST

2) If you have entered after 17/6/2026, please email hello@ilkeston.cc to tell us that you have entered. We can then send you the routes and other important information re the event.

Some info about Treetops.......

Treetops Hospice is the leading end of life care charity for Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.

They provide nursing care and emotional support for adults with life-limiting conditions, those who’ve been bereaved, and their families. Their services are available free of charge, from diagnosis onwards.

They offer end of life nursing in patients’ own homes, counselling for grieving children and adults, personalised wellbeing support and confidential advice.

It costs £5.3 million a year to keep Treetops going and we need to raise over 80% of cost
