Spondon & Ilkeston Cycle Clubs are again working together to host their annual Midsummer Audax on Sunday 21st June 2026.

Following the success of the last two years, we will be aiming yet again for a hundred hundreds; one hundred riders doing their own century, either 100 miles or 100km.

Both routes are completely new.

We have a new café which is halfway for all riders.

We also have a new, local charity, Treetops Hospice Care, based in Risley and as well as passing there, each route has been designed to ride past several of their charity shops.

As previously, we will all start (8.30am) and finish at the Queens Head in Ockbrook, where food and drink is available all day and there is a large garden for you all to recuperate and compare rides.

We ask that you do two things to enter.

1) Make a donation on here. You choose how much but we would suggest a minimum of £10 please BUT PLEASE READ BELOW FIRST

2) When you have set up your donation, JUST BEFORE CLICKING TO CONFIRM PAYMENT, you will be asked if you are happy for us to have your details. You MUST tick this second box "I am happy to share my information with ICC/SCC for the purpose of thanking me"

As well as thanking you, we will need your email address to send you the route and other information in the days leading up to the event.

Treetops Hospice is the leading end of life care charity for Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.

They provide nursing care and emotional support for adults with life-limiting conditions, those who’ve been bereaved, and their families. Their services are available free of charge, from diagnosis onwards.

They offer end of life nursing in patients’ own homes, counselling for grieving children and adults, personalised wellbeing support and confidential advice.

It costs £5.3 million a year to keep Treetops going and we need to raise over 80% of cost
