Thank you for visiting my JustGiving fundraising page for the Denis Law Legacy Trust Streetsport programme!

I have been a volunteer for Streetsport since 2018, the charity supports and empowers young people to thrive through a range of positive pathways and free to access activities. Streetsport has successfully reduced instances of anti-social behaviour; improved health and wellbeing; and encouraged inclusivity through sport, physical activity, and creative endeavour.

I am planning to complete the Ultra Tour de Monte Rosa (UTMR) in September and I am raising funds for new sports equipment for the Streetsport sessions. The UTMR is 105 miles long with 38,000 feet of ascent and descent. I will be starting early on Thursday 4th September and I will hopefully complete the route in one push by Saturday 6th September. The training can be grueling, through cold, wet and dark winter mornings and long (long) mountain runs!

For me the challenge is also in memory of the great Denis Law who sadly passed away earlier this year, patron of the charity and a Manchester United and Scotland footballing legend, his legacy truly lives on.
