Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
When some guys reach a major milestone in age, they may have a minor midlife crisis; buy a sports car, a motorbike or go seriously off the rails.
I, on the other hand, have decided to combine doing something I love with raising some money for charity.
As such, in July 2026 I’ll be cycling the length of Great Britain, from Land’s End to John O’Groats (aka LEJOG). I’ll be paying for the “pleasure” of cycling an average of 100 miles a day for 10 days, back to back, so I hope you are able to donate, either big or small, to a great charity that is very close to my heart.
I’m raising money for a local charity near where my mum lives, South Leicestershire Dementia Community. They provide support, advice, activities and care for people living with dementia, not to mention the support they provide to the carers too. They were incredible with my dad whilst he was suffering with vascular dementia and my mum still volunteers at “Our House” even now. Details of this great charity can be found here: https://academyfordementia.org/site/.
Thank you xx
