Story
Spaniel Aid UK are quite simply a fantastic charity. In October 2016 Spaniel Aid became a UK Registered Charity for the benefit of the public to relieve the suffering of dogs namely, but not exclusively Spaniels who are abandoned, stray or otherwise in need of care and attention. They provide and assist in the provision of rescuing, fostering and rehoming these dogs and provide treatment and care for them where necessary. All dogs deserve a second chance and Spaniel Aid provide this - all are volunteers and quite simply they need every penny they can get. The Vet Bills alone for the year are astronomical, therefore if you can spare a couple of quid then it will make a huge difference.
Fudge has raised a lot of money for his doggy pals at Spaniel Aid over the years. He is nearly 11 now and shows no signs of slowing down. However he is one of the fortunate dogs who has a loving home - other dogs are not so lucky and therefore really do need Spaniel Aid's help.
This year Fudge is walking The Herriot Way - a 4 day, 52 mile wander through the Yorkshire Dales in the footsteps of Alf Wight, the real life vet James Herriot, after who the walk is named. The route starts in Aysgarth and visits Hawes, Keld & Reeth and crosses one of the highest points in Yorkshire, visits historic monuments and passes through a barren industrial wilderness laid bare through lead mining.
Thank you for supporting this wonderful Charity.
