I volunteer at Craven Wildlife Rescue seeing the teamwork, dedication, selflessness, heartbreak and elation first hand. I've also incredibly seen admissions double in a year doubling demands of volunteer time, food, medicine and space at rescue. Volunteers give their time freely but the cost of everything else has of course doubled and that's before inflation is taken into account.

Hence why myself and others are walking The Yorkshire 3 Peaks to fundraise on Monday 18th May from and to Craven Wildlife Rescue which is based in Horton in Ribblesdale the traditional start and finish of the walk.

Pen Y Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough are glorious walks individually and all 3 is always a challenge even for experienced walkers, we"ll be earning our sponsorship!

Please sponsor me, not because I'm walking up 3 mountains I do that anyway but for the incredible tireless work Craven Wildlife Rescue do now and to ensure their future. For the animals so often in need through human activity, a chance to balance that with kindness.
