Story
Dad was many things to many people.
A husband, a dad, a grandad, a great-grandad, a friend - and for those who knew him through his work and life, someone steady, dependable, and quietly strong.
He wasn’t someone who needed the spotlight. He just got on with things. Showed up. Did what needed to be done. And he did it for the people around him.
Family was everything to him.
In his later months, Dad faced stage 4 lung cancer with the same quiet strength. The focus was not on cure, but on managing the illness and keeping his quality of life as good as possible . Through it all, he remained at home, supported by family, with his pain managed and his dignity intact .
We’ve set this page up for anyone who would like to donate in his memory.
If you knew Dad, you’ll know he wouldn’t have wanted fuss. But he would have appreciated something that helps others.
Any donation, big or small, will go towards supporting people and families going through similar experiences.
Thank you for taking a moment to remember him.
