On April 5th, 2026, myself and fellow Gunner, Reece Lindley, will be taking on the Moray Marathon — not in trainers and shorts, but in military boots, carrying 16kg Bergens, and running every step for Help for Heroes.

This isn’t about medals, comfort, or personal glory.

It’s about showing respect for those who’ve carried far heavier burdens — the men and women who’ve served, sacrificed, and still fight their own battles long after the uniform comes off.

This is pain with purpose..........
