I'm doing this to support Thrombosis Canada in their continuing efforts to raise awareness about blood clots. My motivation comes from the stories that I hear of patients and others not recognizing the signs and symptoms until it is too late. Thrombosis Canada has made great strides in raising awareness and expanding the resources and education offered to both patients and healthcare professionals. It is also evident that more needs to be done to improve awareness and I know any funds I raise will be put to good use.

Ma motivation vient des témoignages de patients et d'autres personnes qui ne reconnaissent les signes et symptômes que lorsqu'il est trop tard. Thrombose Canada a fait de grands progrès en matière de sensibilisation et d'élargissement des ressources et de l'éducation offertes aux patients et aux professionnels de la santé. Il est également évident qu'il faut en faire davantage pour améliorer la sensibilisation, et je sais que les fonds que je recueillerai seront utilisés à bon escient.
