On the 18th October 2026, I will be flying from the top tiers of Twickenham Stadium, across the iconic pitch, to raise vital funds for the Adopt A Grandparent charity to help alleviate loneliness for older people.

Across the UK, 60% of care home residents don't receive regular visitors.

With your support, Adopt A Grandparent can connect those residents with a volunteer for regular, one-to-one video calls, using a safe and secure platform, that provides joy, conversation and companionship.

Adopt A Grandparent carefully matches care home residents with volunteers based on shared interests, culture or language. These matches are then nurtured through weekly video calls, building authentic, long-term friendships across generations.
