I have often seen homeless people sleeping on the streets and thought:-

"This is awful - so what can I do?"

Then I heard about Emmaus - a fantastic charity for the homeless not just providing accommodation but also helping people back in to mainstream life. They have centres across the UK and abroad and are looking to develop their presence in Wythenshawe helping people in South Manchester and North Cheshire.

To this end I am helping them organise a sponsored Sleep Over at Poynton Parish Church. I know many people already have their own favourite charities and realise it's hard to support everyone .....but if you can donate to this event and this charity I'd be very grateful.
