Every year, I set personal challenges to push my limits and stay grounded, and 2026 is no different. So far, I have completed several half marathons, including the Enzo Ferrari Half Marathon in Maranello. These events are more than just physical tests; they are opportunities to make a meaningful impact.

This year I am taking part or I have already completed:

29th March - Enzo Ferrari 1/2 marathon

18th - 21st June - Tour of Tameside (4 runs over 4 days in different locations and different disciplines)

4th July - 15km Tough Mudder, Fuelled by Vending (come join us) spaces available.

5th September - 1/2 Marathon forest trail run (Norway)

What makes this year different is the support from NIVO https://www.nivogroup.co.uk in the Community, who on my request have generously donated £500 to Willow Wood. My goal is to match this amount through donations from friends, family, and colleagues. Willow Wood Hospice is such a special place and the vital care they provide to the area is outstanding. Sadly, my father-in-law was unable to access their services last year due to funding shortages that affected staffing availability for beds. This experience has fuelled my determination to help ensure that every available bed at Willow Wood can be staffed and ready for those in need.
