Story
Hi Everyone – thank you so much for visiting my fundraising page!
I wanted to celebrate my Barmitzvah by raising money for a local children’s hospice.
I'm going to be turning 13 in July 2024 and as such will be having my Barmitzvah. This is a significant moment in my life and means that I will become an adult in Jewish law and will be responsible for my own actions. Me and my Dad have therefore decided to use my Barmitzvah to set a mitzvah challenge by fundraising for Haven House children’s hospice. My challenge will be set around the number 13. I've set myself a challenge to walk 13.13 miles from Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to Leyton Orient Football Club and then finishing at Haven House Hospice on Sunday 7th July and a target of trying to raise at least £1,300.
We are doing this to help Haven House raise much needed funds for the amazing work they do. I visited the hospital recently and saw how important the centre is for so many children and their families.
I will be starting at 10am and if anyone wants to join me at any point along the way or to cheer me on please let me know and I can inform you of the full route.
Thank you
Aaron
