As you may know on 19th March my Dad passed away peacefully at Dr Kershaw’s Hospice, he fought his illness hard and continued to be his jokey, witty self until the end.

In the last weeks of his life the team at Dr Kershaw’s cared for my Dad with incredible compassion. The work they do both at the hospice and in the community is amazing.

There’s no way my family can thank them enough for everything they did. The only way we can begin to thank them is by trying to raise some money so they can continue to provide the care they do.

On Thursday 11th September myself and some close friends will be completing 3 day walk from his beloved caravan in grange-over-sands to his home in Royton.

If anyone wishes to join us for any stages of the walk you are more than welcome to.

Thursday 11th - Grange-Over-Sands to Bentham

Friday 12th- Bentham to Clitheroe

Saturday 13th- Clitheroe to Royton finishing at Dr Kershaws
