In 2025, I’ll be running the Great North Run to raise money for darts — an incredible community arts charity based in Doncaster. darts creates art with people of all ages to improve life, learning, and health.

This cause means a lot to me. Through my own experiences, and those of my family and friends, I’ve seen how creativity can be a powerful healer — helping us connect, express ourselves, and feel part of something bigger.

darts runs amazing programmes like:

Singing for Memory, supporting people living with dementia

Dance On, helping older people with strength, balance, and falls prevention

Creative Directions, a creative space for people with experience of mental health challenges

Tuneful Chatter, supporting early years development and building confidence in parents

…and so much more.
