Did somebody say....Cake?! Yes, we did! The Charity Committee needs Bakers and Cake lovers for our Macmillan Charity Day, on 6th October 2023.

But wait, what's that got to do with cake?? Well, for our Macmillan Day we are hosting a bake sale, as well as some tasty competitions for:

The Best Baker

The Best Faker (Remember the film Calender Girls: "Of course, I didnt actually bake this one, I bought it from Marks and Spencers")

The Wooden Spoon (for a bake that maybe didn't turn out as hoped)

Prizes include a day's Annual Leave!

Donation of £1 per entry for the competitions, more on this closer to the time.

If you just love to bake, but dont want to partake in the competitions, that's okay too! Please bring your best (or someone else's best) cakes, biscuits, cookies (because there is a difference!), cupcakes, tray bakes, or even something savory! The choice is yours! All bakes will be added to the Bake Sale that will take place at:

Voyage House (TBC)

Evolution House

We will be celebrating with the colours Green and Purple - so if you want to use these colours in the bake; why not?!
