On 1st January 2025 our father, husband and friend David Civil passed away following his five year battle with cancer.

The resilience and strength that David showed over the course of some hugely difficult years was nothing short of remarkable.

Over the final few months, the incredible nurses at St Clare Hospice provided an amazing level of support to David and the family.

They have a truly impossible job, but we will never forget the inspiring way in which they conducted themselves and the invaluable physical and emotional support that they provided. Their hard work and dedication ensured that David was always as comfortable as he could possibly be, for which we are eternally grateful.
