Story

Thank you for visiting my page!

I’m taking on the Great North Run in support of the Cumbria Police Dog Benevolent Fund—and to make things even more challenging, I’ll be running it in a bite jacket and boots.

Anyone who knows me knows just how much I hate running. But I’m doing this as a personal challenge to raise awareness and support for our newly formed charity.

The Benevolent Fund is a registered charity that supports retired police dogs in Cumbria. These incredible animals dedicate their lives to protecting our communities and, after years of demanding service, they deserve the best retirement possible. Sadly, the cost of veterinary care can be a real barrier to rehoming. That’s where we come in—our charity helps bridge the gap by contributing towards medical treatment and ongoing care.

Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference. Thank you so much for your support!
