As you probably know I spend quite a bit of my time diagnosing lung cancer, often when it's already widespread and unable to be cured. Lung cancer is one of the most common cancers and has the highest death rate of all cancers.

Roy Castle do an amazing job supporting patients and their families through these challenging times and advocating for them.

I'm going to try and cycle across Scotland from Stranraer to Eyemouth in one day on 27th July (250 miles and 18, 171 ft of climbing). Partly because its been on my bucket list for a while but also to raise money for this great charity - route here
