HELP FEED WALES

Tens of thousands of people the length of Wales everyday live facing the fear of not having enough food, to make a meal for themselves, their families, or their children, and numbers sadly are increasing everyday. Poverty is no respecter of persons. It strikes all ages, all races, all religions and stops at no length to rob us of our living. No person young or old should ever have to live with this fear.

But a big difference can be made as we join together. So on June 5th in partnership with His Church Charity I will be riding the length of Wales taking on a 185 mile mountain bike ride from coast to coast. Starting out from Colwyn Bay in the North all the way down to Newport in the South to finish. I will be traversing 3 mountain ranges, over 3 days, climbing and decending 16,750ft !!

I have had the privilege of working with His Church for the last 14 years, and through partnership we have been able to re distribute millions of pounds of food away from land fill and redirect it into the most deprived areas across South Wales. His Church Charity are an established emergency goods redistribution charity, focused on providing food and supplies to those who need it most and prevent many products from going to landfill. They have helped over 15,000 charities nationwide and work with many leading food brands and supermarkets including Kellogg’s, Mars, Heinz, Lidl, Asda, Waitrose and Sainsbury’s.

All the funds that we raise from the ride will be used to provide food and other supplies directly to His Church partners throughout Wales from North to South. The exciting thing is every £1 raised translates into £5 of food donated by His Church to charities over Wales.

Together we can make a difference, to help someone else who we might not know or every meet.
