Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.

Story

In July 2025, we received the news that my wonderful Dad had been diagnosed with a stage 4 glioblastoma. Our world crashed, and feelings of anger and confusion overwhelmed us as we wondered, "Why us? Why is this happening to our family?" But the truth is, it isn't just us. One in three people in the UK knows someone affected by a brain tumour. This disease is indiscriminate; it can affect anyone at any age.

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer, yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease since records began in 2002. Glioblastoma is an aggressive cancer with no current cure. I am raising money for Brain Tumour Research in the hope that one day, there will be a cure for this terrible disease.

To support this cause, we will be participating in the National 3 Peak Challenge in 24 hours on July 11, 2026. Our target is to raise £2500 to contribute towards vital research.

We invite you to join us in this fight against brain tumours by donating whatever you can. Together, we can make a difference. I know that whoever is reading this knows someone—a friend or a loved one—who has been affected by cancer. I want future generations to grow up in a world where this terrible disease doesn't win.

Together we can make a difference.

Thank you so much for your support 🩷🩷
