In memory of David / Dad

It is with great sadness we share that David/Dad passed away peacefully on Monday 22nd September after a sudden stroke.

David/Dad was a dearly loved husband to Gill/Mum, much-loved father to Hugh, Sarah and Hannah, loving father-in-law to Sarah and Francisco, and cherished Grandad/GoGo to Leo, Agnes and Esme.

As a family, we would like to honour David/Dad’s memory by supporting Chest, Heart & Stroke Scotland. This charity is especially close to us, as Gill/Mum volunteers with them, and we’ve seen first-hand the difference their work makes.

We are deeply grateful for the exceptional kindness, dignity and care shown to David/Dad by all the staff on Ward 305 (Acute Stroke Unit) at ARI. They made the hardest days that bit easier with their incredible dedication and compassion.

If you wish to remember David/Dad in a meaningful way, we would welcome donations to this vital charity in his name. Your generosity will help others affected by stroke and ensure more families receive the support and care that meant so much to us.

David/Dad lived an exceptionally full life. He traveled the world, ran three businesses and right up to the end his enthusiasm for inventions and entrepreneurship shone through. His big presence in our lives will be sorely missed. He will be forever loved.
