I have always had an interest in Justice and have been committed to being involved with the International Justice Mission since 2023.

Most of us in western societies enjoy the protection of the Law and have an expectation that we can access it - this is not the case for the majority of the worlds poorest citizens IJM focus on equipping and training local justice and law enforcement systems as well as working with partner organizations for rescue and rehabilitation and education .

Over the past 28 years their mission has become global at reducing violence and exploitation. The bulk of their funding comes from individuals who commit to regular support

As I will have just turned 70 when I climb Kilimanjaro I have set my fundraising target a €7000 - will you help me surpass this ?

I believe in their mission and am participating in their ' Climb for Freedom ' 2025 fundraiser which will go towards the teams who rescue men , women and children for everyday violence , labour slavery ,sexual violence and exploitation .

An estimated 50 million children, women and men are held in slavery today.
