Story

Join us on Easter Saturday, April 19, 2025, as we embark on an event with family and friends and the Mayor of Felixstowe.

We will walk from Martello P, across the breathtaking Landguard Nature Reserve to the historic Landguard Fort. Starting at 11:30 am, this walk is not just an opportunity to view some of Felixstowe's iconic historic buildings; it is a chance to connect with nature and each other while making a difference in our community. Well behaved dogs on short leads are welcome.

As we traverse this beautiful landscape, we will be raising funds for the "Mayor of Felixstowe Charity Fund." This year, the Fund will support Breast Friends CIC who assist Breast Cancer survivors and the Landguard Trust who preserve the buildings and landscape at Landguard.

Your participation and support can help us reach our target of £1,000, enabling these organisations to continue their important work. We invite you to register for this inspiring event through our Eventbrite page and encourage your friends and family to sponsor you.

Together, let’s make a positive impact while enjoying a day filled with history and natural beauty. Thank you for your generosity and support!

(The Fort, Felixstowe Museum and Martello P will all be open to the public on this day - entrance fees apply.)
