The Club encourages participation from the local community and provides opportunities for people to take part in a summer sport, via training sessions and matches from April to September.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Sam Lindley, Ben Lowans, Jon Rhodes and Dave Holder are hitting the trails again for our biennial long distance walking challenge in aid of Melanoma Focus and Menston Cricket Club where we are all heavily involved as committee members, junior coaches and players. 2025 sees us taking on the challenging West Highland Way, Milngavie, Glasgow, to Fort William, 154km and over 10,000ft of elevation in a little over 4 days.

Menston Cricket Club is at the centre of the local community offering coaching and playing opportunities to around 150 junior and in excess of 50 senior players. Like most volunteer led clubs fundraising is essential to ensure the club continues to be able to grow its offering.

The club will donate 50% of all monies raised to Melanoma Focus in support of fellow Menstonian, Johnny Ratcliffe, who has recently been diagnosed with terminal cancer. Johnny has two sons who play junior cricket for Menston CC.
