We (David Sturt & John Whitelock) have already been to Lviv four times over the last year delivering five pickups full of humanitarian aid items which has included; generators, medical aid, warm clothing, soft toys for babies/children and snack food items. The first trip was with a Pickups for Peace (P4P) convoy during the first week of August 2024. The second trip was October 2024 when we took two more vehicles to Lviv as part of the 16th Pickups for Peace convoy. We travelled to Lviv in February and also July this year taking another vehicle each time. Picks Ups For Peace (P4P) is a registered charity (SC52484) which has to date, taken nearly 700 4WD vehicles, ambulances and quad bikes to Ukraine, loaded with humanitarian aid. Each pick up is conservatively estimated to save 10 lives, the money you have provided to date has therefore resulted in five pick-ups being taken over conservatively saving 50 lives.

We are now extending our fund raise to cover the cost of purchasing at least one additional Pick-Up during winter 2025 as part of a Pick Ups For Peace convoy.

All the costs of getting the vehicle to Ukraine (including fuel, insurance, tax, accommodation and vehicle maintenance) will be covered by ourselves.

I have lived and worked with my family in Kiev, Ukraine back in 2010 and continue to watch in horror at how the people are suffering due to the terrible assault on their country.

My good friend and I will drive this pick-up to Lviv in Western Ukraine where it will then be taken to where it is needed most.
