🏃♂️ I'm Running the Belfast City Half Marathon for Show Some Love Belfast! 🏳️🌈
Hey everyone!
This year, I’m lacing up my running shoes (yes, the glittery ones) and taking on the Belfast City Half Marathon to raise vital funds for a cause very close to my heart — Show Some Love Belfast.
Not only is this a charity I believe in — I’m also proud to say I’m a volunteer with them! 💖
Show Some Love Belfast is a small but mighty grassroots community organisation that offers practical support, community outreach, and a warm, safe space for the queer community in Belfast. Whether it's helping those experiencing homelessness, providing essentials, or simply showing up with love and no judgement — they’re out there doing the work others won’t.
And here’s the kicker: they’re now completely self-funded. No big grants, no corporate backing — just passion, people, and pure resilience. That’s why I’m running: to help keep their incredible work alive.
Why support this?
Because queer joy is revolutionary.
Because everyone deserves somewhere to feel safe, seen, and supported.
Because kindness is activism — and these legends prove it every day.
And because — let’s be honest — I’ll need something to keep me going around 21 kilometres, and knowing you're behind me will help more than any energy gel ever could! 😅
If you can spare a few quid, please donate and help me reach my fundraising goal. If you can't donate right now, share this page, tell a friend, or just send some glittery good vibes ✨.
Let’s show some love — loud, proud, and running full speed ahead 🏃♂️🏳️🌈
Thank you!
David
