I am participating in another football marathon this year. Older, slower, fatter, unfitter, and injury-proner! I love this charity and what they do, and having seen first-hand the amazing force for good football possesses in promoting life saving healthcare messages, I am determined to keep fundraising for this worthy cause, even if my body seems to be less enthusiastic!

Me and my team (99 problems but the pitch ain’t one) are putting our love of football to the ultimate test this summer by entering one of Tackle's Football Marathons - a unique fundraising event. Each year over 500 people take part in our regional 12-hour tournaments.

Tackle uses the power and popularity of football to deliver HIV and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) information and services to young people on football pitches across Sub-Saharan Africa.
