I’ve decided to take on the **Devil route at the Dragon Ride this year in memory of my dad.

I first completed the event in 2024 while fundraising for Velindre Cancer Centre, as my dad was undergoing treatment with them at the time. Their care and support meant a huge amount to our family during a very difficult period.

Sadly, my dad passed away in January this year. Throughout his illness, both he and our family were also supported by the incredible team at Macmillan Cancer Support, whose help, guidance and compassion made such a difference when we needed it most.

Cycling was something my dad truly loved. He completed many charity rides over the years with our cycling club, Cefn Riders, and helping others through those rides meant a lot to him.

Taking on the Devil route this year feels like a fitting way to honour his memory — doing something he loved while raising money for a charity that supported him and our family so much.

This ride is for him, and for everyone who helped us through that journey. Any support or donations are hugely appreciated.
