Ten years ago, I was given a second chance at life.

Without the incredible skill of my doctors and nurses, the selfless decision of an organ donor and their family, and the unwavering support of my family and friends, I wouldn't be here today.

There are no words that can truly express the gratitude I feel every single day.

People often say that Stem Cell donations saves lives. It does. But for me, it gave me so much more than life—it gave me the chance to live.

Because of that precious gift, I've been able to...

* Run the Manchester 10K, Complete the Virtual London Marathon along the Rochdale Canal & Run the Manchester Marathon.

* Cycle from Manchester to Blackpool and Coast to Coast.

* Ride alongside transplant recipients at the British Transplant Games.

* Climb the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

* Conquer the Yorkshire Three Peaks and the British Three Peaks.

* Ride a horse through the desert and one of the biggest horses in Cyprus.

* Skydive over The Palm in Dubai.

* Travel to Australia, Dubai, Thailand, Cyprus, Italy, Spain, France, Morocco, Germany, the USA and many more places with the people I love.

Most importantly, I've been there for the moments that matter most.

I've watched my son play football across England, Germany, Morocco and beyond. I watched him experience a World Cup final and play at St George's Park.

I've stood with my family at Wembley to watch Oldham Athletic.

I've cheered on England's Lionesses with my daughter at the Euros in Switzerland.

I've proudly coached my daughter's football team for six unforgettable years.

I've celebrated my sister's wedding.

I've been able to be the best dad I can be to my two amazing children, and the best husband I can be to my beautiful wife as we've celebrated 20 wonderful years of marriage.

These are moments I once feared I would never experience.

Every laugh. Every holiday. Every finish line. Every family celebration. Every hug.

They all happened because one incredible person chose to become a donor.

Today, I'm fundraising to give something back.
