Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Having organised the Rotary Dorset Bike Ride in aid of Cancer Research UK for many years, I now find myself with Myeloma cancer and riding at least 22 miles (I may do the 35 mile route if my cancer fatigue lets me) to raise more funds for this important charity.

Thankfully due to the research in Stem Cell Transplants for blood cancer by chartities like Cancer Research I am now in complete remission following my own gruiling Stem Cell Transplant just over 2 years ago.

I also have an extra reason for riding for Cancer Research since my twin sister Sue has recently been diagnosied with Lung cancer.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. (If you are a UK taxpayer, please remember to tick the Gift Aid box too as it adds 25% to your contribution from the government!)

You can adjust the suggested tip that Justgiving adds to you donation.

Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the Westbourne Rotary Club charity who will send all the funds to Cancer Research. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
