Support My Arctic Challenge for Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity!

As many of you know, I love a challenge and helping others whenever I can. You might also know that I had back surgery in 2020, and since then, my fitness levels haven’t been what they once were. So, in true "go big or go home" fashion, I’ve decided to push myself once again - this time by joining a small team of 16 to take on the Arctic Challenge!

This adventure will push us to our limits, testing our survival skills in one of the harshest and most breathtaking environments on Earth - all while raising vital funds for Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity.

Why Rainbow Trust?

As a father, I cannot begin to imagine the heartbreak of having a child with a life-threatening or terminal illness. Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity provides essential support to families facing this devastating reality.

When a child is seriously ill, family life is turned upside down, and every moment together becomes even more precious. Rainbow Trust carefully matches each family with an expert Family Support Worker, providing practical and emotional support to parents, carers, the unwell child, siblings, and even grandparents, for as long as they need it.

The Challenge

In March 2026, I will be venturing into the Arctic Circle, where I will undergo essential survival training, learning skills such as:

❄ Cross-country skiing

❄ Snowshoeing

❄ Navigation

❄ Campcraft

The adventure will culminate in a two-day trek into the backcountry with a Pulk Sledge, spending the night in a remote Arctic campsite - hopefully with the Northern Lights as our backdrop!
