Every year we try and complete a sponsored event to raise money for the NWAA. This charity is so important to our family after saving my life back in June 2017. Without them things would have been very different for us all. So we always try to do something around the anniversary of my accident.

This year we had planned, as a Family, to do the Cross Bay Walk which is a 7.5 mile jaunt from Arnside, across Morecambe Bay, to Grange-over-sands.

Unfortunately, due to bad weather, the walk had to be cancelled. But as the kids had already raised such an amazing amount, we need to do something for the charity, and help raise awareness.

We have decided to take part in another huge event, and ride the full length of Blackpool Illuminations. We will be decorating ourselves and our bikes, and wearing our Air Ambulance Charity tshirts.

Christopher (age 11) and Bethany (age 5) will be doing this on Tuesday 29th August. Obviously we are doing it with them, but they wanted to raise the money this year.

Please help us raise as much money as we can so that this amazing charity can continue to help others that need them. This is more important than ever as the charity relies solely on donations from the public. They have no NHS or Government help or funding.
