National Three Peaks Challenge · 13 July 2023

HSO are fundraising for one of their chosen charity partners, Alzheimer's Research UK, to help make breakthroughs in dementia research possible!

Story

I'm taking part in the National Three Peaks Challenge involving climbing the three highest peaks of Scotland, England and Wales, within 24 hours in aid of Alzheimers UK.

The total walking distance is 23 miles (37km) and the total ascent is 3064 metres (10,052ft)

The three mountains are:

Snowdon, in Wales (1085m)

Scafell Pike, in England (978m)

Ben Nevis, in Scotland (1345m)

Alzheimer's Research UK is the UK's leading dementia research charity, dedicated to diagnosis, prevention, treatment and cure.

"Backed by our passionate scientists and supporters, we're challenging the way people think about dementia, bringing together the people and organisations who can speed up progress, and investing in research to make life-changing breakthroughs possible."
