Story
On the 19th June I shall be doing the single biggest challenge of my life - walking from Westward Ho in North Devon to Paignton in South Devon traversing Dartmoor in 24 hours. A total of 68 miles - 1 mile for every year of my life!!
I will be joining many others in what will be an epic journey and to be frank a massive challenge both physically and mentally. I am doing this to raise vital funds for The Devon Clinic, a charity providing affordable counselling and mental health support for people who need help but can’t always afford it.
Every mile I walk represents someone struggling with anxiety, trauma, or depression who reaches out for support. The Devon Clinic is there to listen, to care, and to help people rebuild their lives — but they can only keep doing this with our support. The walk will test us massively, but knowing that each step helps someone take their first step toward recovery makes it all worthwhile.
Please donate, share, and be part of this journey. Together, we can make mental health support accessible for everyone in Devon.
