Story

Back in February I decided to set myself a challenge in memory of my Dad. Having thought about it I decided, as a non-runner, running a marathon in October would be a decent challenge. Everyone of us know someone who has been affected by cancer so I'm raising funds for The Irish Cancer Society. We have lost many friends of the pharmacy to cancer and regularly witness the hardship involved in battling this disease. My own Dad passed away last year from cancer and my Mum (who's now doing great) battled cancer a few years ago. So in memory of Dad (Tony Macken) I'd love to raise funds for Irish Cancer Society. I am running the Chester Marathon on Sunday 6th October and would be so grateful if you could donate any little amount. Thanks. David
