The Wheelwrights’ Charity supports, amongst other things, education and training in the craft of wheelwrights, mobility for disabled people, especially children and young people; access to sport, educational and recreational activities for disabled people, especially children, young people and disabled ex-servicemen and ex-servicewomen; and City of London charities and causes including the Lord Mayor’s chosen charities each year.

Story

Liverymen of the Worshipful Company of Wheelwrights, their friends and relations are cycling the Tour de Vale in aid of WheelPower.

WheelPower, the national charity for wheelchair sport have been providing opportunities for people with physical impairments to take part in sport for over 70 years. Based at Stoke Mandeville Stadium, the home of the Paralympic movement, WheelPower is at the heart of wheelchair sport.With your support WheelPower will be able to deliver more life changing opportunities for disabled people, introducing them to the joys of playing sport, and the many benefits that come from a more active lifestyle.2022 saw the return of their flagship events, The National Junior Games and the Inter Spinal Unit Games. It also saw the launch of their Sports Festivals that take place across the country and with your support WheelPower can create more opportunities, and reach even more disabled people - like Lillie.
