Story
David & James are cycling from Land's End to John O' Groats unsupported over the course of 10 days, in aid of two fantastic charities. David will be riding for Finley's Touch and James will be riding for Sport Parkinson's. We hope to collectively raise a ton of cash for both charities.
We will be covering 100 miles a day for 10 days straight, leaving Land's End on 27th May and reaching John O' Groats on 5th June (hopefully!!). We are travelling unsupported with all our kit in pannier bags on the bikes, just to make life easier! We will cover the full cost of the trip so, 100% of all donations will go straight to the charities.
Finley developed JMML at 6 years old, he battled his illness heroically, undergoing 3 stem cell transplants in under a year. Despite amazing care, he could not be cured and passed away on the 6th of December 2021 aged 8.
Finley touched everyone he met. He continues to inspire us, and we are supporting this charity set up in his name, to support others going through similar situations.
Finley's Touch raise money to provide 'Hospital Survival Bags' to children who are undergoing long stays in hospital. They also provide financial grants to their families in order to support them through these difficult times.
