David's fundraiser for Save a Child's Heart

London Marathon 2025 · 27 April 2025 ·
This year I'll be running the London Marathon for a fantastic charity - Save a Child's Heart.
Save a Child’s Heart saves the lives of critically ill children suffering from heart disease in countries where access to paediatric heart care is limited or non-existent. By bringing children to Israel for medical care, performing missions abroad and training medical personnel, they are bringing hope to families, communities and countries. To date, they have saved the lives of over 7,500 children from 71 countries and trained 140 doctors and clinicians in paediatric cardiology. As Israel’s preeminent humanitarian organization, they are transforming paediatric cardiac care around the world.
'Tikkun Olam' is Save a Child's Heart's core value - by helping to repair the world and believing that every child deserves the best medical care, regardless of race, religion, gender, nationality or financial status.
As I prepare to once again drag myself through 26.2 miles of London's finest pavement, I am of course conscious that we're living in a difficult time where the cost-of-living crisis is affecting many people as well as charities. Due to this, I hope you won't be offended as I ask for a donation of any size in support of this wonderful charity so they can continue to save children from across the world (as there's not a chance I'd be doing this if it wasn't for such a good cause!!)
