We’re raising money for Friends of Brooklands School, a charity close to the hearts of the 6 chaps who have decided to get together to try and raise some money and make a difference. Like many special educational institutions that rely and benefit from charitable giving, the funds we raise will help to enhance the lives of children aged between 2-11 with special needs.

Our part:

"Less Than A Grand Tour"

We set ourselves a ‘Top Gear Style’ Challenge by buying some old bangers and driving around Europe on an Epic Road Trip with the hope the cars make it. The Limit on Spend for our Bangers was £1,000 and we bought some absolute beauties for a lot less, our collection:

•⁠ ⁠Mercedes CLK £733

•⁠ ⁠Audi A3 £300

•⁠ ⁠VW Passat £500

Our Tour starts early on Saturday 10th May where we will take LeShuttle to Calais and head East towards Austria. Passing through France, Germany, Austria, Italy and Slovenia our Furthest away Destination is Dubrovnik in Croatia. On our return we will be passing through Bosnia, Serbia, Hungary and Slovakia, Returning on Sunday 18th May. Total Mileage will be somewhere between 3,500 and 4,000 Miles. So far, we have a couple of hotels booked but we will be winging it on the return (camping gear at the ready!).

Initially we set this up for a bit of fun but once we got the cars, we realised how much of a challenge we had really set ourselves, and have decided to raise some money for a great cause.
